Frank serves on the board of several environmental organizations. His passions in life are protecting biodiversity and promoting green philanthropy. |
Paul Chapman Nanaimo Area Land Trust Assistant to Executive Director & Volunteer Coordinator (Treasurer) Born and raised in the Lower Mainland, Paul has lived on Bowen, Gabriola, Savary and now Vancouver Island. Paul has travelled the coast as crew on a commercial fishing boat and enjoys hiking many of the trails that the BIG island has to offer. |

Jennifer Eliason Island Trust Fund Manager Jennifer is the Manager of the Islands Trust Fund, a land conservancy for Canada’s island in the Salish Sea. She was previously the Executive Director of Habitat Acquisition Trust. In total, she holds over 13 years of land trust experience, and in her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening and running. |
Jack Minard Comox Valley Land Trust Jack has recently retired from his position as executive director at the Comox Valley Land Trust. He then moved to Victoria and has taken on a co-chair role with the Alliance. Jack has a strong background in building partnerships and finding common ground. He believes there is nothing gained by complaining and much to be gained from offering soloutions. It is through being a contribution to finding solutions he maintains his optimism and energy. |

Jeff Ralph Ministry of Aboriginal Relations & Reconciliation Jeff is currently a Land Analyst, conducting land research for treaty negotiations. He has a Masters in Environmental Studies which focussed on Buddhism and Ecological Restoration, Diploma in Restoration of Natural Systems and a B.A. Religious Studies. For four years, he managed ITF’s nature reserves – utilizing field survey techniques, ecological restoration, and risk management. He lives in the Oaklands with his family, chickens and in his spare time enjoys hiking, camping, playing several instruments, hockey, soccer and other sports, and eating. |
Christine Torgrimson Salt Spring Island Conservancy Christine Torgrimson is the Executive Director of the Salt Spring Island Conservancy. She has served as founder, staff, board member, trainer and consultant with numerous land trusts and conservation oganizations in Canada and the U.S. throughout the past 35 years. |
